Yapta Bolsters Sales & Engineering with the Appointment of Key Executive Leaders

Steve McQuade Named VP of Engineering and Patti Elliott Named Chief Sales Officer

Seattle, WA – September 23, 2013 – Yapta today announced that it has named Steve McQuade as Vice President of Engineering and Patti Elliott as Chief Sales Officer. Both executives will play key roles in the advancement of FareIQ, Yapta’s corporate airfare price monitoring service, with McQuade overseeing product development and Elliott spearheading customer adoption within the enterprise market.

McQuade previously served as Vice President of Engineering and Technical Operations for AudienceScience, where he led the development of a high-volume, low latency SaaS-based system that managed more than 10 billion transactions per day. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Wetpaint, and as Senior Manager of Engineering at Walt Disney Internet Group.

Elliott was previously the Senior Vice President at Executive Conversation, a global sales organization helping Fortune 500 companies improve revenue performance. Throughout her 25-year sales career, she has also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Expedia Corporate Travel, the CEO of Metropolitan Travel, and the Vice President of US Sales for Galileo International.
