Yapta Appoints Meghan Kiernan as Vice President of Business Development

Business Development and Marketing Executive Brings Over 10 Years of Experience to Rapidly Growing Online Travel Company

SEATTLE - December 11, 2007 - Yapta, Inc. (www.yapta.com), an online travel shopping service that tracks airline ticket pricing for leisure and business travelers, today announced the appointment of Meghan Kiernan as Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Kiernan joins Yapta with more than 10 years of business development and marketing experience at online start-up companies.

"Meghan is a proven business development and marketing executive and will play a critical role in helping Yapta grow its user base and revenue potential," said Tom Romary, CEO of Yapta. "We will leverage her intellect and years of experience to aggressively advance our strategic partnerships and corporate growth."

Most recently, Ms. Kiernan was Director of Marketing at Jobster.com where she managed marketing and business development efforts, including online display advertising, email marketing, search engine marketing, affiliate program development and strategic partnerships. Prior to Jobster, she was Director of Online Media at HouseValues Inc. where she successfully negotiated an exclusive, multi-year partnership with MSNBC.com and brokered innovative marketing programs with WorldNow's Local Media Network. Earlier in her career, Ms. Kiernan served as a Senior Account Manager and Media Planner for Avenue A, Inc., the interactive services division of aQuantive, recently purchased by Microsoft Corporation. She joined Avenue A before its initial public offering in 1999 and was responsible for helping large, brand-name clients, such as Eddie Bauer and Harrah's Entertainment, optimize their online advertising investment.

"Yapta's early breakthrough success with consumers in the online travel space is impressive, enabling travelers to bookmark more than $200 million worth of flight itineraries and delivering over $10 million in potential savings," Kiernan said. "I'm excited to be joining such a talented team of innovators to help drive further growth in such a large category."

About Yapta, Inc.
Yapta, Inc. was founded in January 2006 with the mission to assure consumers that they get the most value out of their trip planning, and pay the lowest possible price for airline tickets. Yapta's online service takes advantage of airfare price volatility by continually monitoring airline ticket prices and alerting consumers when the price on "tagged" flights decreases. Bringing to light pro-consumer "guaranteed airfare rules" offered by many airlines, the service helps air travelers obtain travel vouchers -- and in some cases, cash refunds -- when the price decreases on tickets that have already been purchased.
